When my wife was alive years ago, she was always so great with helping to massage my aching muscles. There came a point when massage was not enough, however, and I found some relief by making sure to see a San Jose chiropractor on a regular basis. I still go see one whenever I can because getting treatment is the only thing that lets me keep running the construction company that I own. Many bosses stand back and let their employees do all the work, but that is not who I am. I am not ready to give up yet. I am a widow now, and my company is what keeps me going in life.
I met my wife in the 8th grade through mutual friends. I remember the day that I met her very clearly. She was standing in a breezeway at school talking to some of her friends. My friend asked me to come along with him so that he could spend time talking to one of my future wife’s friends. He had a crush on her for some time, and he wanted me to come with him so that he would feel more comfortable being around her. He introduced me to all the girls, and then my future wife smiled at me. I was smitten from the very first moment. We remained friends for a couple of years until my third year in high school.
By the time I was 17, I was finally confident enough to ask out the girl in the eighth grade. I thought she would be surprised when I finally asked her out, but she simply asked, “What took you so long?” I laughed and told her that we would go to a dinner and a movie. I had been saving money for that date for a long time. We had a lot of good years together after we married. She always worried about my back and took good care of me when she was alive.
